The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority operates 21 major regional parks and manages various historic and conservation-oriented facilities, land and trails which encompasses more than 11,000 acres. The preservation of open space is a high priority. In addition, we strive to offer recreation opportunities not traditionally provided by local governments.
