Cadre (www.hirecadre.com) is an online freelancer marketplace (think Upwork, Fiverr, Uber, etc.) focused entirely on the meetings and events industry. The software provides companies with the ability to efficiently source, interview, contract, and pay event-industry freelancers through a platform built precisely to facilitate compliance with labor law and worker classification regulations.
Cadre, as software as a service (SaaS) platform, is used either (1) internally by clients as a self-service (non-managed) model in which they themselves use Cadre as their “hub” to manage their freelancing workforce more efficiently, or alternatively (2) in a full-service (managed) model in which a Cadre Customer Success Associate works directly with the client to support the contracting of the client’s freelancing requests.
