Events Coordinator Position Summary:
The Events Coordinator will lead event planning, logistics, communications, and technology platform facilitation, ensuring the successful creation and delivery of workshops, meetings, and other assigned special events, in alignment with the Commission’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. The Events Coordinator will be expected to support the Commission’s premier event, the Annual Conference. The Events Coordinator will research innovative, emerging topics, identify potential presenters and thought leaders to contribute to event priorities, and ensure that events are well-organized, dynamic, future-focused, and relevant for all participants. Understanding trends in events management will be critical.
This position requires energetic and positive interactions with staff, Commissioners, member institutions, peer evaluators, and all constituents through exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Employment Details:
The Events Coordinator is a full-time, exempt, remote teleworking position, with some required travel. The base salary range for this role is $52,000 to $60,000, based on the incumbent’s background, experience, and qualifications. In addition, the incumbent will be eligible to participate in MSCHE’s benefit offerings, including, but not limited to, health coverage, organization-sponsored life and disability insurance coverage, participation in a 403(b) program with employer contribution eligibility, and a generous paid time off program.
